Employment CPR – Fall 2016

Do your employability skills need “CPR”?  Career Pathway Resources — Employment CPR — is a half-day job readiness program offered by the Women’s Resource Center of Sarasota County to help women and men brush up on employment skills including writing resumes, practicing for interviews, conducting the job search and more.

“This unique workshop is designed so that participants can jumpstart their job readiness and develop a path to meaningful employment,” said Barbara Cruz, interim executive director. “We will also be providing follow-up employment support services to expand on the skill base acquired in the workshop.”

Sponsored by the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, this workshop is offered for FREE and, if you meet the following criteria, you could be eligible for additional employment and other services for free:

→ Age 35 or older
→ Have provided unpaid household services for a family member (stay at home mom or dad, caregiver)

→ Are currently receiving Federal assistance OR have lost financial support of another family member due to divorce, separation, death, unemployment or disability
→ Are Florida residents
→ Are US citizens or have authorization to work in the USA
